Terry Ludwig began experimenting with formulas for making his own pastels in 1995, frustrated at not finding the quality and uniformity of shade he needed for his work. The result was over 500 colours that have become one of the highest quality and most prestigious pastel ranges in the world.

The 14 Best Loved Basics set is perfect for amateurs and students because of its versatility.
