SPEEDBALL SCREEN DRAWING FLUID

The ideal complement to Speedball Screen Filler.

It allows you to draw directly on the screen using the tusche-like or positive screen printing method, covering the area of the screen that will then allow the ink to pass through.

The process is really simple:

- First paint the image you want to print with Drawing Fluid on the inside of the screen with a brush and then let it dry.
Important: work with the screen slightly raised to prevent the mesh from touching the table during this process.
- Tape up the up the seams where the mesh and the frame meet on the outside of the screen.
- Then spread Screen Filler on the same side as the drawing.
Important: apply only one coat of Screen Filler (more coats may dissolve the pattern).
- Once the Screen Filler is completely dry, spray both sides of the screen with cold water, concentrating on the areas where the original drawing was made. In this way we will be able to remove the fluid with which we had made the drawing, which will then be the passage area for the ink to be printed. (If cold water is not enough, you can rub with a stiff brush, but gently).
Important: never use hot water at this stage.
- Leave to dry horizontally with the back side down or use a hairdryer or fan.
- The screen is ready for printing.
