sennelier dammar gum in 33% solution

SENNELIER DAMMAR GUM IN SOLUTION (33%)

Sennelier Dammar varnish can be used as a base for making varnishes or mediums.

It dissolves in mineral spirits and provides a shiny, covering, and uniform film that fills surface irregularities and smooths it out.

Dammar gum is a light resin obtained from trees in Sumatra (Indonesia).

Its properties make it very interesting as a temporary coating or intermediate layer (for example, as a touch-up coating).

It can also be used as an adhesive area for touch-ups or applying a top coat.

Its light yellow clarity and tone, almost transparent, make it very suitable for use in painting. Additionally, it has the advantage of not yellowing over time.
