R&F PIGMENT STICK OPAQUE COLOR SET OF 6 OIL STICKS AND PANEL

Set with 6 Opaque Color oil colour sticks by R&F and an oil painting panel Ampersand Gessobord.

The bars contain 38 ml and the panel measures 16.5 x 19 cm.

The colours in the set are selected to experiment for the first time with the oil stick technique. It includes black and white and the colours closest to primary colours: Titanium Zinc White, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Cadmium Red Medium, Cobalt Blue, Ivory Black and Chromium Green Oxide.

R&F sticks are made and moulded by hand from linseed oil, pure pigment and natural waxes such as beeswax or vegetable wax. R&F manufactures small batches to maintain the outstanding quality of its oil sticks.

The consistency is smooth but resistant. They contain no additives, thinners, substitutes or facilitators like most traditional oil colours in tubes.

They are easy to handle and are applied manually to the support. They do not require the use of brushes, palettes or rags.

The oil sticks can be dissolved with turpentine or white spirit and mixed with other oil paints.

The final varnishing process of the works is the same as with traditional oil painting.
