r&f pigment stick begin set of 3 oil sticks

R&F PIGMENT STICK BEGIN SET OF 3 OIL STICKS

Starter set by R&F with 3 x 19 ml sticks of oil paint.

Excellent quality.

Colours included in the set: Ivory Black, Mars Red and Sienna Yellow Extra Pale.

R&F uses natural waxes to achieve a smooth and resistant consistency with the same fluidity, subtlety and durability as traditional oils. They are handmade with linseed oil, pure pigment and natural waxes such as beeswax or vegetable wax.

They contain no additives, thinners, substitutes or facilitators.

The sticks can be applied by hand on any oil painting support. No brushes, rags or palettes are required to paint with them.

They can be dissolved with turpentine or white spirit and mixed with traditional oil paints.

They are generally used for the preliminary drawing, to create the complete work, especially for very expressive and gestural painters, or for more textured or contrasting finishing touches. They are also used by engravers, photographers and sculptors.

They are varnished in the same way as traditional oil paints in tubes.

This set is especially recommended to start experimenting with the oil sticks R&F.
