R&F DRAWING OILS - OIL STICKS

Inspired by Pigment Sticks oil sticks, R&F's Drawing Oils offer a smooth, portable drawing experience with a denser formula.

Their size, shape and formulation make them a perfect tool for drawing and painting on your favourite sketchbooks, canvases and boards, providing a fast and fluid application on smooth surfaces and a more textured application with more colour on a rougher surface.

Made with less linseed oil and more wax.

It has a protective layer on the surface that keeps the paint inside fresh and prevents it from ever drying out completely.

It can be removed with a 1.27 cm diameter pencil sharpener, with a blade or simply by drawing on a piece of paper.

Once applied, it dries completely with a matte finish that does not require any fixatives.

Depending on the type of pigment, the support, the thickness of the layer, and the environmental conditions of the studio (heat, light, and humidity), drying can take between a few days and several weeks.

Compatible with oil-based mediums such as linseed oil, turpentine or odourless white spirit to create different effects such as gradients, soft textures such as watercolour, markings on white paint, etc.

They can also be combined with R&F Pigment Sticks, tube oil paint, and many other drawing and painting materials.

We recommend preparing the surface with gesso for greater durability and preservation of the work.
