2. Good Design Award from the Japanese Industry, awarded by the prestigious MITI (Ministry of International Trade and Industry) to products that stand out for their usefulness and design.

How to use OLFA cutters correctly

1. Make sure you are using the appropriate cutter and blade for the material and thickness you wish to cut. For example: do not try to cut plywood with a standard cutter.

2. When extending the blade segment, ensure that the top of the segment is correctly positioned within the blade holding channel.

3. Use a sharp segment. This will provide greater safety and eliminate the risk of damage to your work, ensuring a clean cut.

4. Use the OLFA safety disposal container or snap off worn blade segments with pliers.

5. It is advisable to use an OLFA cutting mat as a base for your cuts. OLFA cutting mats will help protect your work surface and the durability of the blades.

6. Do not store your cutting mat vertically. Store it horizontally and away from direct sunlight.

7. For your safety, protect your eyes with safety goggles, etc.

8. Always ensure the blade is retracted inside the handle and keep it out of reach of children. It is also important to always store blades in the same place.
