This leadership is based on strict quality control, a strong spirit of research, and continuous innovation and development of cutters for all kinds of jobs and cutting needs, with the constant aim of manufacturing the safest, most practical and functional, most comfortable and most durable cutters on the market.

Almost all OLFA cutters have achieved prestigious awards and European Quality and Safety Certificates, such as:

1. German GS Mark: The products that have obtained it comply with the Quality and Safety established in the German Product Safety Act. This certification has a high international prestige and means the recognition of the highest guarantee of safety in its handling.

2. Good Design Award from the Japanese Industry, awarded by the prestigious MITI (Ministry of International Trade and Industry) to products that stand out for their usefulness and design.

How to use OLFA cutters correctly

1. Make sure you are using the appropriate cutter and blade for the material and thickness you wish to cut. For example: do not try to cut plywood with a standard cutter.

2. When extending the blade segment, ensure that the top of the segment is correctly positioned within the blade holding channel.

3. Use a sharp segment. This will provide greater safety and eliminate the risk of damage to your work, ensuring a clean cut.

4. Use the OLFA safety disposal container or snap off worn blade segments with pliers.

5. It is advisable to use an OLFA cutting mat as a base for your cuts. OLFA cutting mats will help protect your work surface and the durability of the blades.

6. Do not store your cutting mat vertically. Store it horizontally and away from direct sunlight.

7. For your safety, protect your eyes with safety goggles, etc.

8. Always ensure the blade is retracted inside the handle and keep it out of reach of children. It is also important to always store blades in the same place.
