REFINED POPPYSEED OIL BY MICHAEL HARDING

Refined poppy seed oil softens the consistency of oil paints, increases their gloss and transparency.

Non-yellowing, perfect for thinning colours by delaying drying and adding a paint film that is not as strong as linseed and safflower oils.

Ideal for wet-on-wet work.

Due to its slow drying properties, it is not advisable to use this oil as a base for painting.

Originally from the Netherlands, poppy seed oil has been used by artists since the 15th century.
