REFINED LINSEED STAND OIL BY MICHAEL HARDING

Refined linseed oil is an oily medium that brightens the colours of your artwork. It has a viscosity similar to honey and will be useful for levelling oil paint brushstrokes and slowing down the drying process.

Increases the resistance of the paint and the fluidity of the brushstroke. Perfect for glazes and transparencies.

It should be used sparingly as too much can slightly yellow the colours due to the natural colour of the oil.

We recommend that during the winter months you warm the linseed oil slightly before use by placing it in a container of warm water. It is normal for linseed oil to become cloudy or thickened due to low temperatures.

This may make application more difficult but does not affect the quality of the oil.
