Isabey manufactures in Brittany (France) perhaps the finest ranges of handmade Kolinsky sable and squirrel hair brushes in the world.

The brushes of the 6318 series are made of pure, extra fine Kolinsky sable hair. They have a long brush tips with reserve. The tip is very fine and precise, which makes it an ideal brush for painting e.g. details of ships in watercolour seascapes or branches and grasses. Can be used for all techniques.

Long dark blue handle and unsoldered silver coloured ferrule.

The 6318 series has 6 numbers from 2, the finest, to 12, the thickest. The hair bundle thickness ranges from 1 mm in diameter for No. 2 to 5 mm for No. 12.
