GOLDEN SANDABLE HARD GESSO

Golden Sandable Hard Gesso is formulated from an acrylic polymer emulsion containing titanium dioxide and calcium carbonate to create an easy-to-sand surface.

It should only be used on rigid supports, such as hardboard, wood, metal etc.

It should not be used on flexible materials, as it may crack.

- Application: Apply in several thin layers to avoid cracks. Shake before use.

- Sanding: After drying, sand first with coarse paper and then fine. Wet sanding reduces dust and provides a smoother surface.

- Thinning: It can be thinned with up to 20% water for brush application or with Golden Airbrush Medium for spraying, adjusting the amount according to the sprayer used.

- Acrylic painting: Apply 2 coats of Gloss Medium to reduce yellowing.

- Oil painting: Apply 2 to 3 coats of acrylic primer before the sandable hard gesso if used on raw supports to protect from oil acids.
