GOLDEN CLEAR TAR GEL

Golden Clear Tar Gel is a colourless acrylic polymer gel with a resinous and fibrous consistency, similar to tar.

Its characteristic honey-like fluidity allows it to be stretched out extensively, facilitates levelling and reduces brush marks, achieving fine and detailed lines when dripped onto surfaces.

It can be mixed with Golden acrylic paints to create a wide range of colours.

When mixed with Golden fluid acrylics, it maintains the gel's characteristic consistency.

It can also be thinned with water or Golden mediums to adjust its texture. It is useful for increasing the levelling capacity of acrylic paints, gels or mediums. For thicker applications, it is recommended to maintain a thickness of less than 1/8 of an inch to avoid cracking.

When mixing, it is common for foam bubbles to form, so it is recommended to let the mixtures rest for at least 24 hours so they can rise to the surface.

Additionally, mixing with oils should be avoided, and it is suggested to sand non-absorbent surfaces to improve adhesion.

Tools should be cleaned with soap and water, and the minimum temperature for film formation is 48ºF/9ºC.
