Gamblin 3-in-1 medium is the first and only oil painting medium designed specifically for 3 very important uses.

Secondly, it is ideal for oiling out a painting before deciding if the work is ready to be varnished or if there is more painting to be done.

And thirdly, it is a perfect tool for sealing wooden panels before priming them.

It is ideal for oiling, creating thin washes, background stains and sealing panels before priming.

Gamblin 3-in-1 can be mixed in 50/50 proportions with Gamsol solvent to thin it or with Galkyd medium to increase the viscosity of the resulting medium.
