Handmade in Seattle (USA) since 1993, they have the highest concentration of highly ground pigments and high lightfastness.

Its very wide range covers a broad spectrum from historical pigments, natural earths or pigments obtained from minerals mined in the most diverse corners of the world to quinacridones, based on synthetic pigments.

The colour range PrimaTek, exclusive to Daniel Smith, consists of colours made from pigments obtained from finely ground semi-precious minerals that produce an attractive visual effect reminiscent of classic frescoes painted on wet plaster.
