DANIEL SMITH ACRYLIC GESSO IRIDESCENT GOLD

Daniel Smith Iridescent Gold acrylic gesso provides a support with the metallic sheen of the mica and iron oxide from which it is made, very different from regular white gesso primer.

Easy to use, made with a high grade acrylic emulsion that provides optimum flexibility and durability, greater than oil-based ones.

It does not contain the oil acids of traditional petroleum soils, which tend to deteriorate cotton or linen canvas fibres.

Because the base is an acrylic emulsion, it cleans easily with soap and water and becomes permanent once dry.

Clean the brush after applying the primer.

Can be diluted with up to 10% water.

Recommended as a painting ground for acrylics, oils and alkyds.
