CLAIREFONTAINE PASTEL REVOLUTION PASTEL FREEZER

Pastel Revolution Fixative is a liquid solution for fixing dry pastel powder on Pastelmat and on any other surface prepared with an absorbent primer (canvas, wood, cardboard, etc.).

It can be used as a fixative in the middle of the process, if the pastel powder is too volatile, or as a finishing agent.

Satin matt appearance that resists rubbing and humidity. Does not yellow over time.

It allows the works to be transported rolled up and displayed without glass.

Perfect for working on very large pastel formats.

Recommendations for use:

Lay the drawing flat and spray it at 30 cm, covering the entire surface.

It is possible to rework the sprayed drawing once it is completely dry.

Sometimes 2 or 3 thin layers are needed to completely freeze the drawing. Count about 30 ml to freeze a 50 x 70 cm sheet.

Do not spray vertically and wait until the film is completely dry before putting it upright.

Do not spray too close to avoid propelling the pastel powder.

Like any fixative, it can modify certain paper and pastel colours.
