CEYS ARALDITE STANDARD EXTRA STRONG ADHESIVE

Araldite Standard is a two-component epoxy adhesive, a resin and a hardener, which react when mixed.

It is the recommended adhesive for all types of high-strength joints.

It has the capacity to fill.

Bonds virtually all materials with the exception of polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE and silicone.

Withstands temperatures from -30 ºC to +65 ºC, and tensile forces up to 350 kg/cm2.

It resists most organic and inorganic solvents, as well as shock and vibration.

Bonding of all types of materials such as metal, ceramics, wood, rubber, etc. rubber, rigid plastics, expandable plastics, etc. The joints can be made between materials of the same or different nature.

Shock and vibration resistant.

Instructions for use:

Surface preparation.
1. The surfaces to be glued must be free of dust, grease and dry. In most cases they can be easily cleaned with a cloth dampened in acetone or other grease solvent. No alcohol or lacquer thinners are recommended.
2. In metals or plastics, and whenever possible, a process of mechanical pre-treatment, by sanding or grit blasting or a chemical stripping considerably improves adhesion strength.

Application:

After mixing the two components, apply the adhesive with a spatula in a thin layer on one of the surfaces to be glued. A larger quantity of adhesive does not improve the bond strength.
Once the adhesive has been applied, the parts are placed in their final position, making sure that there is good contact between the two surfaces. A uniform contact and without movement during the hardening process guarantees a flawless bonding process.
Keep the pieces together for a minimum of 8 hours for a perfect seal.
