caran d'ache grafwood graphite pencil

The Caran d'Ache Grafwood graphite pencil is designed for artistic drawing, sketching, illustration and technical work requiring precise control of lines and tonal gradations.

Its high-quality graphite core is available in 15 hardness grades, from 4H to 9B, allowing you to create everything from fine, light and defined lines to intense strokes and deep blacks.

The hexagonal barrel is made from FSC-certified cedar wood and features a varnished finish in different shades of grey, with the colour identifying the hardness of the lead, from hard (light grey) to soft (dark grey).

Softer grades are ideal for shading and filling areas, while harder grades are suited to detail, hatching and technical drawing.

Made in Switzerland.
