BOOK (IN SPANISH) - JAVIER ZORRILLA EL ESTILO EN LA ACUARELA - RAFAEL NAVARRO

The third edition is now available for pre-order!
Delivery expected in early May.

This book brings together a representative collection of watercolours by Javier Zorrilla, a master of this technique and a leading figure known for a style based on impeccable execution in every aspect: drawing, wet-on-wet and dry-on-dry brushwork, composition, colour mixing and control of the painting process.

The works are complemented by detailed explanations of the painting process by Rafael Navarro, a pupil of Zorrilla, who analyses each piece step by step from a didactic and rigorous perspective.

This is a clear and concise book that formally examines Zorrilla's works, explaining why they function aesthetically as figurative painting and how they are constructed using the language of watercolour itself.

This book will allow you to deepen your understanding of the medium and the painting technique of watercolour, helping you to reflect in your own works - just like Zorrilla - a sincere, natural and personal vision of your surroundings.

Furthermore, it will help you create works with ease, freshness and directness, free from rhetoric, without falling into excessive detail or unnecessary exaggeration.
