Ampersand Aquabord panel made from Hardbord, sealed with Archiva-Seal and coated with an acid-free clay and mineral ground.

Textured surface that absorbs water similarly to a fine grain archival and museum quality watercolour paper.

It preserves pigment vividness and facilitates layering multiple coats, allowing colour to be lifted down to lower levels without damaging the finish.

It withstands heavy paint loads without warping and offers excellent performance with watercolour, gouache, casein and acrylics.

Its surface does not require glass protection when framing the finished artwork.

NOTICE: Apply a thin layer of water over the Aquabord surface with a flat brush to remove trapped air bubbles. Once the surface is slightly damp and no more air bubbles are visible, apply the colour.
