AKASHIYA SHARAKU ROUND JAPANESE CALLIGRAPHY BRUSH SYNTHETIC FIBRE

Sharaku Japanese synthetic round brush for calligraphy.

Hair made of synthetic polyester fibres in brown colour.

Moderate stiffness.

Dark handle with Japanese characters in blue. Includes a string on the back to hang the brush and a transparent cap to protect the fibre.

The tip is very sharp and flexible. The brushstroke can be as wide as the base of the bristles.

Designed to create expressive brushstrokes of very different thicknesses when learning oriental calligraphy or all kinds of wet techniques. Because it is elastic and has a sharp point, it can beautifully express any organic or sinuous movement.

After use, it is easy to clean by rinsing the inked area with lukewarm water. Store in a well-ventilated place so that it loses all moisture. Even if the ink has dried and hardened on the brush, it is very easy to recover it by gently massaging the bristles and soaking them in warm water for 3 to 5 minutes.

If the tip curls, it can be recovered by immersing the brush in hot water at 50º for 1 to 3 minutes.
